Terms of Service

1. Overview
Tentacle AI ("the App") is provided by Ubiton AI Kft ("we", "us", or "our") to help Shopify merchants automate customer support via WhatsApp using AI technology. By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Use of the App
- You must have an active Shopify store to use the App.
- You must be authorized to act on behalf of the store you connect.
- The App uses OpenAI to generate responses and WhatsApp to deliver messages. By using the App, you agree to the respective terms of these third-party services.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with all local data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR where applicable.
3. Fair Use
The App includes a monthly message quota per plan (e.g. 5,000 messages per month). Excessive use, automated abuse, or attempts to bypass limits may result in suspension or throttling of service. We reserve the right to modify quotas or restrict usage at our discretion to ensure fair access for all users.
4. Billing
The App is billed through Shopify's recurring billing system. You will be charged monthly according to your selected plan. Additional usage fees, if applicable, will be charged based on the pricing listed on the app page. No refunds will be issued for unused time or message quotas.
5. Data Collection
We collect and store the following data from your store: shop domain, customer WhatsApp messages, AI responses, and basic usage metrics. Data is used solely to provide and improve the service. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.
6. Termination
You can uninstall the App at any time. Upon uninstallation, your data may be retained for up to 30 days to allow recovery if needed. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or abuse the service.
7. Liability
The App is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or response accuracy. In no event shall Ubiton AI Kft be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
8. Changes
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
